Distillery

Located in La Cortinada, a beautiful village in the heart of the Ordino Valley, FORA’s distillery is where tradition meets innovation. 

Each batch of our gin is handcrafted with time, precision and passion, combining imagination and meticulous attention to detail with a deep respect and curiosity for the art of distillation.

Every aspect of our production happens here, from developing recipes and preparing our botanicals, to distilling, bottling and labelling all of our gins. All of these processes are done by hand and with love!

Tours

PENÈLOPE

Penelope is a traditional pot still, featuring three chambers: the kettle, the thumper and the condenser. Pot stills are known for creating smooth, bold, flavourful spirits full of character, body and complexity.

Penelope was designed and built for us by Matt Servini at The Craft Distilling Business.

Distillery Tours and Experiences

We offer two levels of distillery tours:

A guided tour of the distillery with a welcome a gin and tonic, full product tasting and a brief overview of the fascinating history of gin.

FORA Premium Tour Experience

You will be welcomed with our signature gin & tonic before beginning your tour with FORA’s master distillers, who will explain every aspect of our production process. You will be able to taste our entire range of products – with a few extra surprises thrown in too!

The visit will be fun and interactive: from learning about our botanicals and distillation techniques, to immersing yourself in the fascinating and surprising history of gin.

This experience is completely customizable and could include, for example:
A premium  local cheese and charcuterie board to enjoy after your tour, perfectly paired with a FORA gin & tonic and/or the signature cocktail of your choice.
A wild foraging experience with our distillers (June - October) as an add-on to the tour to see how and where we get some our botanicals.
An outdoor barbecue, a picnic in the Andorran Wild or even a special dinner inside our distillery tailor-made by a private chef, with a focus on our gins, and other fantastic local produce from around the country.
